Hampton Lane Refund & Exchange Policy

At Hampton Lane, we are committed to providing the best customer service. We understand that sometimes a return or exchange may be necessary, and we aim to make the process as simple and hassle-free as possible.

Change of Mind Exchanges

We offer a 7-day exchange or store credit for change-of-mind purchases, provided the following conditions are met:

  • The item is returned within 7 days of purchase (return postage at the buyer’s expense).
  • You provide a valid proof of purchase (receipt or tax invoice).
  • The item is in its original, unused, and resaleable condition, including any packaging.
  • The item was not purchased on sale or clearance.

Please note that change-of-mind exchanges are not available for:

  • Gift cards/vouchers
  • Earrings
  • Perfume
  • Discounted or reduced-price items
  • Customized or special-order items

For online purchases, please contact us before returning your item. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer, and shipping fees are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.

Refunds

Refunds are only provided for damaged or faulty items and will be processed to the original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for refunds to reflect in your account.

Credit Card Payments: Refunds will be issued to the original card used for payment. If the card is unavailable, a Hampton Lane Gift Card will be provided instead.

PayPal Payments: Refunds will be processed directly to PayPal. For assistance, visit PayPal or contact them at 1800 073 263.

Afterpay & Zip Payments: Any refunds for purchases made via Afterpay or Zip will have processing fees deducted.

Damaged or Faulty Items

We carefully inspect and package all items before dispatch, but if your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We may request photos to assist with the claim.

If your package arrives with visible damage, do not accept delivery and contact us immediately at hello@hamptonlane.com.au.

Other Returns

For any other return inquiries, please contact us with your order number, item details, and reason for return. Proof of purchase is required. Hampton Lane reserves the right to decline a return if the item has been misused or neglected. A restocking or repackaging fee may apply when applicable.
